Introduction
Snowballing is provided by Liu Li. This Policy explains how the developer processes your information in the iOS app.
Snowballing does not require account registration. Some data is stored only on your device. When you use features that require network access, such as AI, purchases, sync, voice, feedback, or analytics, relevant information may be sent to servers or third-party services for processing.
1. Information Processed
The developer may process the following information:
- Content you enter or generate in the app, such as tasks, states, preferences, voice transcription text, feedback content, and the context and AI responses involved when you use AI features.
- Information needed to run the service and troubleshoot issues, such as device type, system version, app version, language, time zone, app-generated identifiers, usage events, error information, network request information, IP address, and purchase status.
- Information generated after you grant system permissions, such as notifications, microphone, speech recognition, and iCloud related data. Permissions are managed by iOS and can be disabled in system settings.
Please avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information in the app, such as ID numbers, bank card numbers, precise addresses, medical diagnoses, or other people's private information.
2. Purposes
The developer processes information to provide and maintain app features, including task management, state records, AI assistance, voice, reminders, sync, purchase benefits, troubleshooting, product improvement, feedback handling, and legal or regulatory requirements.
3. Third-Party Services
The developer does not sell your personal information. To provide necessary features, Snowballing may use the following third-party services or platforms:
- Apple: App Store purchases, system permissions, notifications, speech features, and iCloud.
- RevenueCat: subscriptions, purchase status, membership benefits, and purchase restoration.
- AI service providers: processing content that you actively submit to AI features.
- Tencent Cloud TTS: advanced text-to-speech features.
- Cloud servers, databases, logs, email, or feedback services: running the service, storing necessary data, troubleshooting, and responding to feedback.
4. Storage and Retention
Much of your data is stored locally on your device. When you use network features, related request content, conversation records, analytics events, logs, or necessary business data may be stored on the developer's servers or in third-party services.
The developer retains relevant information for a reasonable period necessary to achieve the processing purpose. If the purpose has been achieved, is no longer necessary, or you submit a deletion request that meets legal requirements, the developer will delete or anonymize the relevant information. If deletion is temporarily difficult for technical reasons, processing other than storage and necessary security protection will stop.
5. Security
The developer takes reasonable measures to protect your information, such as encrypted transmission, limiting access, reducing unnecessary data collection, and investigating security issues. No internet or local device environment can be absolutely secure. Please protect your device, Apple ID, iCloud account, and important data backups.
6. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, copy, or deletion of your personal information, and you may manage local data and system permissions in the app or iOS system settings.
Because Snowballing does not provide account login, the developer may need you to provide information that helps locate data when handling a request, such as a conversation ID, device identifier, purchase credential, issue time, or contact email. The developer will use this information only to handle your request.
7. Updates and Contact
The developer may update this Policy due to changes in features, service providers, laws and regulations, or operational needs. Material changes will be notified through in-app prompts, page notices, or other reasonable methods.
